Resolution Season

Hi Farm Friends,

I've got you now.

It's a new year, and you want to do all the right things this year. You've watched all the documentaries, and read all the Guardian news articles. You know that everything is a complete mess, and you don't want to be a part of it. Overwhelming doesn't even cover it, it's so daunting. How could you do anything right, when every single thing has so much feedback into the awful system?

Well, luckily, someone talked you into signing up for this newsletter. And the writer of this newsletter, dear reader, is doing a pretty thorough job of doing everything right. He's raising animals outside, on grass, moving them constantly, and feeding them organic, soy-free feed. His team is caring for the animals well, and taking care of them even at processing time. He's keeping everything as local as possible. It's a lot of work, for sure, but it's legit, and there aren't caveats that come with the end product. It's clean. Is this farmer perfect? (Long pause. Like, really long). No, of course not. So many things could be done better. But the intention is there, and things are going good.

All that to say, TrailBale Meats and Eggs pass the New Years Resolution test. They check all the boxes. They are certified Good For Everything. So get some. Support a do-gooder.

Fresh Chicken this week! Mostly whole birds. Cut-ups next week. And so many eggs. Hurrah!

Beef prices going up a little bit. New Country feed prices too. Which means, sooner or later, chicken prices going up a bit too. But not just yet. Sorry, y'all. It's the way of the world.

What's in Travis' Car Right Now?

Week ten. I'm using my get out of jail free card. It's just too gross.
More eggs! Good girls
