Knowledge Synthesis Grant Workshop
Together with the MSSU, we are happy to offer a workshop for research teams applying for the Knowledge Synthesis grant. Researchers who submit an LOI are invited to attend a workshop on June 29th. If you intend to apply to the funding opportunity please save the date.
Teams interested in attending the workshop can fill out a survey intended to tailor the content to the needs of applicants. Please respond by June 7th.
A comparative program and policy analysis grant funding opportunity has been launched by CIHR. All BRIC NS members are eligible to apply for this opportunity.

Support for Projects
BRIC NS is pleased to offer support for teams applying to Network funding opportunities. Support is based on available resources and includes:
Identifying team members in other provincial networks
Collecting Canadian Common CVs
Help to identify which data sets are required and/or available
Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit staff are here to help you with your Knowledge Synthesis Grant applications! Submit a request for research support and an MSSU staff member will be in touch to discuss your project with you and how they can help. They have consultants specializing in the fields of knowledge synthesis, knowledge translation and patient engagement, as well as staff that can support grant proposal preparation and submission in collaboration with BRIC NS.
Events Why is meaningful community engagement in research so important... and challenging?
We invite you to a "lunch and learn" on community engagement and research. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about these opportunities and challenges, and discuss best practices.
Nicola Boydell (University of Glasgow), visiting Nova Domus scholar, will discuss her experience designing and delivering a public engagement project with young LGBTQ people and their allies.

Early Years Research: An Opportunity to Collaborate
