Happy Labor Day weekend.

Summer is beginning to wind down. That means that the Idaho fall bluegrass music scene is here!

There are several things going on in the month of September that I wanted to let you know about.

First, the IBA continues to sponsor several weekly jams. The two jams hosted by Jason Homey in the Pioneer Building in Downtown Boise will be restarting this week. Check the IBA web page for details at https://www.idahobluegrassassociation.org/calendar.html

Second, The IBA quarterly meeting will be held this Tuesday September 4th at the Meridian KOA. If you're interested in what's going on or would like to get involved as a volunteer, please join us.

Next, the ISBA Fall Festival is coming up September 14th through the 16th in Weiser. Hope to see you there.

I am excited to announce a music workshop hosted by the IBA November 3rd entitled "Be your best as a performer." The instructors for the workshop will be Becky Blake and Gary Eller. The registration form is now available on the IBA web page (https://www.idahobluegrassassociation.org/being-your-best-performer.html).

Hope to see you at a jam soon.

Cheers, Joe Gobel
