Happy Fall 2019, Bluegrass Music Lovers!

Hope you had a fantastic summer full of picnics in the park, songs by the campfire, sunny days on the river or wherever the season took you. Although it might be hard saying goodbye to what many of us call our favorite season, the IBA has lots of great bluegrass music news for the season ahead.

still at Liquid Laughs in Downtown Boise, 7 to 9 p.m

Look for the next one in December.

Weekly Jams The IBA sponsors several weekly and monthly jams. Check the website for dates, times, and locations. Jason Homey’s jams on Wednesday and Thursday evenings have resumed but begin at 7 p.m. instead of 6:30. Check the website for details

IBA Membership and Leadership

Thank you to all of you who have paid your annual dues. Your donations are greatly appreciated and essential to keep our organization vital and moving forward in a positive direction. Voluntary donation of $15 per year is recommended and covers the calendar year January through December.

You’d rather donate time rather than money? Great! Volunteers are welcome and needed. We have many ongoing and developing projects including taking bluegrass music into the public schools, playing at assisted living facilities, planning next year’s bluegrass festival, and more. Please contact us. Or maybe you have a suggestion, feedback, etc. We want to hear from you. Contact us at

The annual IBA members meeting is December 4th, 2019, at Pioneer Building, downtown Boise from 5:30-7PM. New officers will be elected at that time. If you would like to have a say and a vote in this organization, please plan to attend. Remember, only paying dues members are allowed to vote in elections.
