The Bluegrass Community Bulletin Board

Thursday, March 24th

The Pine Hearts

(Just beneath the eaves of Washington's Cascade Mountains, The Pine Hearts are combining wood, ore and soul to channel the colossal, organic spirit of the untamed Pacific Northwest. Their sound, like the environment around them, is ever-changing, harnessing classic country songwriting, the powerful emotive themes of experimental folk, and the blazing-fast pickin' rhythms of traditional Appalachian bluegrass -- all the while staying rooted to their rock-n-roll backgrounds. )

7:50 pm - 8:40 pm Basque Center

Heather Meuleman Music

(Heather’s a recovering classical violinist who took up songwriting a few years ago. She’s spent countless long nights closing down stages across the NW with her fiddle axe over the past couple decades. )

9:00 pm - 9:50 pm Basque Center

The Sweet Lillies

(Acoustic string-band lineup of guitar, viola, and upright bass given flight by ethereal, vocal harmonies that float like a dream, the Sweet Lillies' music has an old-time soul with a forward-looking eye.)

10:10 pm - 11:00 pm  Basque Center

The Brothers Comatose

12:10 am - 1:30 am Basque Center

Saturday, March 26th

Killdeer String Band

(The Killdeer String Band performs a refreshing blend original and traditional folk styles ranging from Celtic to gypsy, and Bavarian to bluegrass)

Hurdy Gurdy Girls
(Hurdy Gurdy Girls is an all girl string band from Hailey, Idaho performing original songs steeped in an old-time music feel sprinkled with traditional fiddle tunes.)
6:40 pm - 7:30 pm Pengilly's Saloon

Sheep Bridge Jumpers

(Born on the banks of the Big Wood River, the Sheep bridge Jumpers are a collection of friends who like to play music together. Their sound is a mixture of folk, punk, bluegrass and rock. If you can find a hand, grab it, look that person in the eyes and start rocking back and forth.)

9:00 pm - 9:50 pm Pengilly's Saloon

High Pine Whiskey Yell

(Born out of a desperate need for craft beer, deep powder, plastic jug moonshine, fast-moving rivers, and a deep-seated fear that artificial intelligence will ruin hard-driving bluegrass…)

12:50 am - 1:50 am Pengilly's Saloon
