"Three years ago my dad told me and my brother something that I will never forget. "You can't always be taking from the world, sometimes you have to give back." My dad told me and my brother that we were going to be volunteering at an organization called REACH, and that we would be with other church groups. We were the first family to be involved with REACH, and spent the whole week volunteering and doing mission projects. In my life, there have been a lot of things to lead me and my family away from the church, and more importantly, from God. REACH helped my find myself and find God again. The next year, I came back as a REACHer and I grew close with the other REACHers. This year, I came for two weeks as a junior intern, and I became closer to the campers, the interns, and most importantly, God. REACH has changed my life in ways I never thought it could. I grew closer to the community by helping the environment and the less fortunate. It is amazing to see God use others, and even myself, to do the work of Christ." - Lily Kennedy
