Successful Touch Touch Days!
Your help needed (and it won't take long)
100 Kids Who Care chose us!
On October 1st we held our final Touch Tank Day as part of the You, Me and the Sea programming of the Sustainable Oceans Conference. Over 230 people came to see us at the Halifax Central Library and we had a great time!

We are overjoyed by how well this event series went. In all, we held 7 Touch Tank Days and saw over 1500 visitors! Thank you for coming out in high numbers and for your enthusiasm towards our proposed Back to the Sea Aquarium.

Here are some of the few things people had to say about their time with us.
We have so many people to acknowledge for their contributions to the Touch Tank Days. We took the time to thank them all this week on our Facebook page - check out our #thankfulweek series

We would like to highlight the support that we received from our two sponsors, The Image Salon and Eyes on Optometry Group. Thank you!

100 Kids Who Care Halifax chose us!

On September 28th, one of our supporters, 10 year old Grace, nominated the Back to the Sea Society at the 100 Kids Who Care Halifax meeting. And, you guessed it, Back to the Sea won! With each child bringing in $10 of their hard earned money, we received a donation of over $300!

A huge thank you to Grace for nominating us and doing such an awesome job with her presentation. Check out the video here

Thank you as well to all the kids who voted. You are the ones we do this for and your vote of confidence means the world to us! And of course, thank you to 100 Kids Who Care Halifax. What a great initiative!

The Chronicle Herald covered this last meeting. Read more about here
We will be attending the next meeting on December 7th to talk more about what we do and how the donation will contribute to our work. Join us
