Before we dive into the ins and outs of the latest happenings, we want to send out our sincerest thank you's to our readers. Without you guys, our valued customers, we would not be here. So thank you for your continued support. We hope you decide to stick around with us.

Last month, our assistant brewer JT Dalton had the opportunity to give an interview with Growler Magazine. Of course, with a background as impressive as his, it's no surprise Growler wanted to interview JT in the first place. From racing cars, realizing artistic talents, to teaching;  to landing on brewing craft beer.. JT has done it all. Barley John's Brewery is proud, and honored, to have someone with such skill and talent on our team. If you haven't yet, we suggest checking out the full interview here:

Culinary Corner
Are there important "rules" you follow when it comes to your ingredients? For Barley John's, we favor using ingredients that are native to Wisconsin. This includes cranberries, corn, pigs, beef, apples, and wild rice. We also try our best to only use alcohol from Barley John's and 45th Parallel.

Stop in and try one of our fabulous menu items! If you've tried the food, what is your favorite dish? If you have yet to try something.... It's all good! :)
Brew News

Have you heard? Barley John's Brewery has tapped a new brew. With a moderate mango aroma and malt, mango, and warrior hops creating the experience, the Mango Pale Ale is sure to appeal to your senses. The Mango Ale comes in at 6.5% ABV, 45 IBU's.

Tis the season for Maibock which means our Tergnomeator Maibock is back. This sits at 8.3% ABV and is a tall glass of wonderful; come on down this weekend and give it a try.
Do you know the story behind the Maibock? Learn about it here:
  • Little Barley
    Session Ale
"My fine American ale is brewed with choice barley and hops for smooth, easy-drinking enjoyment. Not bitter. Not sweet. Mmmm. Gnome good beer."
    4.2% ABV   |   18 IBUs
  • 6 Knot
    India Pale Ale
"My IPA is a balanced, layered flavor experience. Malt goodness intertwined with hoppy intrigue. I swiped the British style and replaced the monarchy with a gnomarchy."
    6.9% ABV   |   50 IBUs

  • Old 8
"My porter is a flavor party on your palate. Huge malt yum with chocolate mocha smoke dancing with hop spiciness and zest. For the gastrognome in all of us."
    8% ABV   |   60 IBUs
  • Wild Brunette
    Wild Rice Brown Ale
"My signature brown ale is inspired by a special lady. It has rich toasted malt, soft chocolate and dark fruit flavors, with subtle vanilla notes. It is complex and smooth, and just like that wild brunette, simply phegnomenal."
    7.2% ABV   |   50 IBUs

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our first Open Mic Night a success. We appreciate each and every one of you and we look forward to seeing you again June 16th for our next event. You all rock!
