We're pleased to announce that we are accepting a grant on behalf of the Friends of the Longview Public Library from the Texas Book Festival to purchase new juvenile audio books! WOW! Our deepest gratitude goes to the Texas Book Festival for helping us expand our Library!

Longview Public Library and its Book Drops will be CLOSED Saturday, May 27th through Monday, May 29th.

Looking to add dimension and intrigue to your yard? Things looking a little flat? Come learn about raised beds in landscape design from Gregg County Master Gardener, Pete Quinn, on Saturday, May 13th from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM! Master Gardener Denise McDonald will be presenting an interactive program about vegetables & fruits and the different ways those grow on trees and plants! We now have an area for Adult Best Seller books, located next to the New Books section! Adult Best Sellers may be checked out for seven (7) days, and cannot be renewed. This will help the books circulate more quickly, allowing more patrons to enjoy them!
