Chautauqua Festival 2016

Chautauqua Festival

Our 2nd annual Chautauqua
(”sha-tauk-wa”) Festival is happening on Saturday, April 16th from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM! This is a FREE event celebrating all the rich, diverse culture that Longview has to offer, including live music & performances, local authors, artists, & artisans, a literary cake contest, and so much more! If you would like to reserve a vendor booth space to promote your books, photography, art, creations, etc., you may do so by clicking here. The fee to reserve a booth is only $20.00 for the whole event! This helps us cover the costs of renting equipment for the event so that it stays free to the public. Chautauqua Festival is going to be a lot of fun, and we look forward to seeing everyone there!

Tutoring Tuesdays

Tutoring Volunteers Needed

We are pleased to say that our Tutoring Tuesday program has been a success! In fact, we have seen a nearly-full list of kids signing up for it each week. We are confident that the program will continue to fill up as more patrons become aware of it! That being the case, we are seeking additional volunteers. With your help, we can maintain, if not possibly expand, our Tutoring Tuesday program! If you're interested in helping enrich the lives of bright young children in our community, please give Mary Jane a call at (903) 237-1390 today!
