We will be CLOSED Tuesday, January 1, 2019 for New Years Day!
- The outside book drop will remain open, and normal hours will resume on January 2, 2019.

Starting January 7th, we'll start our annual Summer Reading Club Raffle.
Purchase a $10 ticket to potentially win a $2,000 vacation travel package to a destination of your choice!
Head to Napa Valley and see the it up in Las Vegas...get away on the open seas with a cruise! Our sponsor and friends at Evan's World Travel & Cruises are here to guide you. All purchases go towards funding the Summer Reading Club programs!

The City of Longview’s Homeless Resource Day will be held Friday, January 25th from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, at the Longview Exhibit Center.

The library is a drop off point for any Homeless Outreach Bag donations/supplies. Donations will be received up until the day before the event.

We're excited to announce music night here at the library that we're calling Sounds & Stacks!
Folk duo Hungrytown, will be here to give a live performance for patrons and families of all ages.
No cost to attend.
Local Longview food trucks will also be outside to add to the occasion!
Limited seating will be available, but there's plenty of standing room as you listen to the Sounds from the Stacks!

Join us in making a coffee filter wreath this class. We ask that you bring one to two packs of standard coffee filters. All other supplies will be provided for a basic wreath. Please bring any other embellishments or tools you'd like to use.

Instructor Cory Alvarado, of Better Living for Texans, will be here to speak and do hands on instructions about various aspects of health, diet, and nutrition.

Class I - Creating Safe and Healthier Meals (emphasis on cleanliness of hands & food. A breakfast recipe reviewed)
Class II - Balancing Your Day (emphasis on having a balanced meal. A Lunch recipe reviewed)
Class III - Saving More at the Grocery Store (emphasis on saving money & using coupons while grocery shopping. A dinner recipe reviewed)
Class IV - Celebrating Small Bites (emphasis on eating nutritional snacks. A snack recipe reviewed.)

Join Grace Gannon from Freedom Yoga for a toddler yoga session at the Library! A yoga themed picture book will be read aloud while we focus on proper breathing and easy yoga moves for little bodies.
