We are pleased to announce several events in honor of our students' academic success, here at ABC. Our graduation events are a special time to celebrate their hard work, perseverance, tenacity, academic prowess, and persistence to completion.

The 2020 Graduation ceremonies at American Baptist College will involve four planned activities that are distinctive and unique for these times:

1. A Virtual Graduation
Thursday, June 11, on the ABC Campus

Through technology, graduates will be remote at their various home locations and participate in the unique ceremony. Some traditional speeches and presentations will be made, other activities will be remote with students. Students in Nashville will participate in a section of the program on the ABC campus.

2. Special Presidential Presentation at Out-Of-Town Graduates’ Home Churches
June - August

Should social distance regulations be lifted, President Harris, along with designated staff, will visit the home churches of out-of-state graduates to celebrate with graduates in their home environment.

3. Convocation Recognition
Fall, 2020

The 2020 graduates will also be recognized at the ABC Fall Convocation.

4. Special Recognition
May 2021 Graduation

Finally, there will be a combined celebration of the 2020 and 2021 graduates scheduled to take place in May 2021.

Our Students Need Your Financial Support.

The COVID-19 crisis is creating hardship for ABC students in many ways. Because of this unprecedented pandemic, we need American Baptist College friends and supporters now more than ever before.

We are pleased to announce that ABC has created a Student Relief Fund to help students who are experiencing an unexpected financial crisis.

Our students need technology support, tuition, housing, food, and medical and emotional health expenses.
Your support is key to our students’ ability to continue with their studies and be the faith and social justice leaders so crucially needed in their communities.

For more information please call 615.687.6921.

Students Continue to Receive Remote Instruction.

Over the last few weeks our President, Dr. Forrest Harris, Sr. has spent time reaching out to our student body across the country. Such a simple gesture has been important to checking on the well-being of our students.
