Choose Tap at your event

Council now has three free portable water stations for community groups to use at their events.

Council is providing these stations to help our community stay hydrated and to reduce the amount of single-use plastic water bottles in our environment.

All you need is access to drinkable water via a tap and attendees can fill up their reusable bottles until their hearts are content. Chiller boxes are also available to provide cold water through the water stations.

Is your club or organisation prepared for the storm and cyclone season?

Storm and cyclone season is upon us. So now is the time to develop your Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Your BCP should contain all the information necessary to ensure that your club/organisation is able to resume critical activities in the event of a crises.  This could include a checklist to ensure you have a current contact list, back-ups of computer files, scanned copies of any important documents such as insurance policies and include a general clean-up of your premises to remove any debris.

It is also important to have a checklist to prepare your own place of residence.
