Our Sarina Sugar Shed is the toast of the country after snaring silver at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Darwin.

The Sugar Shed, a national finalist in two categories, won silver in the Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Brewers category.

The Mackay Regional Sports Precinct is a joint initiative between the Australian Government, us and CQUniversity.

We’re reminding motorists to look up and pay attention to variable electronic signage on an overhead gantry in Malcomson Street during peak traffic times.

The gantry incorporates overhead signage as east-bound motorists approach the Malcomson Street and Greenfields Boulevard intersection.

AFL pre-season challenge Gold Coast SUNS vs Essendon
WATCH THE VIDEO > It was a picture-perfect day in Mackay on Sunday for the JLT Community Series AFL clash between the Gold Coast SUNS and Essendon Bombers. Were you part of the 5000-strong crowd at Harrup Park as we welcomed top-class AFL to the region? This was another event funded by council’s Invest Mackay Events Attraction Fund.
