NDIS in the ACT
On Friday last week the Australian Newspaper reported that the NDIS in the ACT had reached participant capacity and potentially eligible people were being asked to wait for a vacancy in order to join the scheme. Mental Health Australia and Community Mental Health Australia (CMHA) released a joint media release, calling on governments to resolve the issue immediately, given that funding for other services had either ended or been withdrawn.
