Face Mask Workshop - Apr 15

Our co-op is making great progress toward opening an awesome grocery this Fall at 320 Jefferson Davis Highway in Fredericksburg.  BUT WE NEED YOU.  In these unprecedented times we have all learned how essential grocery stores are.

Now is a great time to express your support for your very own grocery co-op focused on LOCAL producers, sustainable practices, building community, sharing information on the link between food and health and keeping our money and control here in our own community.

APRIL INCENTIVE:  Be a foundational Owner of the Fredericksburg Food Co-op – an owner who joins before the doors open this Fall.  We will give all new owners who join in April (along with existing owners who recommend them) a chance to win $200.

Be inspired by the contribution food co-ops are making to human health, community well-being and local economies. Hear from author Jon Steinman (Grocery Story) and Stuart Reid, Executive Director of the Food Co-op Initiative, both very good friends of the Fredericksburg Food Co-op, how, for over a century, consumer-owned grocery stores (food co-ops) have been modeling the resilience, responsibility, and stewardship that we should all expect from our neighborhood grocers.

Cost:  $15 contribution to the sponsoring organizations.  To encourage attendance by our Co-op owners and future owners we will reimburse the first 10 who request reimbursement of this fee.  Contact us at fxbgfoodcoop@gmail.com to request reimbursement.
