New Hope Life Center & Social Hall Construction Update
We had a demolition crew on site this week!  They started demolition of the old counter in the sanctuary entrance area.  They are also removing some of the ceiling tiles and some acoustic tiles. They will start erecting new walls within a few days.

Pray for productivity and safety for all the workers.
Paul Lancaster
Wednesday, November 28 a pre-construction meeting was held which was attended by Joe Kuebler, Chris McCallister, Tim Ashcraft, Pastor Jamie, and David Lennon from McCullagh and Scott.

The Site Permit is in hand with official start date from Dallas 1 (the subcontractor) of December 17.  It will take approx. 30 days of site work to be building pad ready.

The Building Permit:  In the most recent comment from Hillsborough County, they have required that a “licensed gas contractor” draw the exact location of the gas line routing inside the Social Hall (not necessarily the norm).  That has been requested and will be submitted by McCullagh and Scott upon receipt.  In all the building permit should be issued in 30 days.  This is not expected to slow the project as the site work must be completed first in any case.

The rest of the meeting was spent laying out and verifying the policies and procedures to be followed by both parties during the construction period.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks
Joe Kuebler

December Mission Emphasis

Zoe is our newest international mission partner.
The work they do is incredible - it's all about empowering
orphans so that never have to accept charity again.  New Hope will have an empowerment group in Zimbabwe over the next three years. Children in the group will be offered skills and resources to start their own businesses, educational guidance, and emotional and spiritual support. Do you think God might be calling you to go to Zimbabwe and meet the children in our empowerment group?  If so, contact Rev. Vicki.  Maybe you want to offer support in other ways.  We will have "alternative Christmas gifts" outside on the patio starting the first Sunday in December - all proceeds go to our specific empowerment group.

We’ll follow in the footsteps of Jesus, Paul, Samuel, and David, which will transform the way you read the Bible. For many people this is the trip of a lifetime. From Oct. 28, 2019 - Nov. 6, 2019 we will travel with Educational Opportunities. Please consider this my personal invitation to be a part of this adventure of faith. For more information on the trip, pick up a “Journey through the Holy Land” brochure in the kiosk of the Lobby.
