As cooler weather continues the growth of bermuda greens slows.
With greens growth minimal old hole plugs will be slow to heal.
Once the club has the first hard frost the greens will be dormant.

In an effort to provide smooth putting surfaces
the staff will be selecting 3 pin placements.  These
placements will be rotated throughout the winter.
Unused pin placements will be covered with rubber
plugs that blend in with the green and does not affect
playability.  Our target green speed for the winter
will be 11 on the stimpmeter.

In other areas, we have set traffic control stakes
and markers in specific areas to increase turf health
throughout the winter.  Please avoid these areas.  Please
don't forget as the course and greens begin to go dormant,
it is even more important to fill your divots
and fix ball marks on the greens.

Please be aware of frost delays.
It is important to stay off the greens until all the frost has lifted.
Click here for 5 things every golfers should know
about frost delays.  Article from the USGA.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
