2019 Rules Change
Click here for explanation of rules changes.

18th Hole
Club can now make hazards which
under the old definition were water hazards
with yellow markings to lateral hazards with
red markings.  On hole 18 any ball finishing
in the hazard short of the green or fairway
will have the option to drop on the other side
of the marsh equidistant from point of entry
from the hole.  In most cases the area to drop
will be just across the bridge next to the cart path.

If your ball crosses land and goes over the green
or to the left of the green you are allowed
to drop two club lengths no closer to the hole
where the ball was determined to cross the hazard.

Additionally take note all hazards are
now called penalty areas.

Click here for a great article on frost.
Article explains how you can have 40 degree temperature
and still have frost on the ground.

New carts are here!

Custom seats, padded steering wheel,
usb ports, new breaking system and double sand
bottles on each side.  Carts will have
silver hubcaps for the first couple
of months but will be updated with new tires
and rims in the spring.  GPS will also be installed in
the spring.  Tow bars and bag clips will
be fully installed next week.  Top of the line!

Also this week the grounds crew gained new
utility vehicles plus a much needed sprayer.

Clubhouse news:
The clubhouse roof is scheduled to be replaced
towards the end of February.  Roof will match
the blue metal roof of the pool buildings.
Insulation and ceiling tiles will not
be replaced until the new roof is installed.

Even with a new clubhouse in the future
the staff & Board of Directors have big plans
for the current clubhouse.

Planning for the future.  Let us know
your thoughts.  Current clubhouse
is planned as multi-use building once
the new clubhouse is complete.

Potential ways to use the building are listed below.
Are there additional ways you believe the
club can use the current clubhouse?

Exercise facility
Gathering spot for kids activities
Game room for adults and or kids
Indoor golf simulator for club & ball fittings
Kitchen used for large parties by the pool
Locker rooms with showers for pool & exercise facility
Storage for tables, chairs & decorations for outdoor parties
Grill for golfers coming off of #8
