December Newsletter
Christmas is in a few weeks! For most of us this is a time when family and guests come home and gather together to do our favorite activities. From holiday cooking, baking or sharing a cup of coffee to the picking a perfect tree and running around the stores for some fun gifts. However, it may not be the most cheerful time of the year for some people. Every year we as a church realize that many people are in need in our community and this is why we make December a time of giving at Bryte. We ask that you and your family make it your mission to recognize these people in need and invite them to church this month, or just them give your time or attention in any way you can, also bring them to our many Christmas Celebration Services. At Christmas we want everyone to hear the message of God's biggest gift - Jesus, and be invited to belong to God's wonderful family.

Save the Date - December 22nd!! Christmas is coming up fast and we’re very excited to announce our Christmas Block Party! Last year was a huge success and it is happening once again at Bryte Church on but this year it will be bigger and better!

This event is not easy to organize and a lot of help is needed. Volunteers are needed to decorate leading up to the event and volunteers to help day of as well. Monetary donations are also needed to bring this project to life. The purpose of this block party is to celebrate the birth of our Savior as one big church family and friends. We also want to use this as an opportunity to love on the West Sacramento community and celebrate with our neighbors! Our goal is ultimately to show love to our neighbors, make them feel welcome at their neighborhood church, and save lives!

Please contact Anna Tkachuk ( for volunteering and helping out with the event or visit the table at church before and after services.

We are continuing our series in the Book of Galatians looking at what it means to be Rooted in the Gospel. Much like a tree, you can tell the health of an individual Christian and a church as a whole not by digging up roots but by looking at the spiritual health of the individual. The Gospel is about grace, unmerited, costly grace and the book of Galatians is permeated by this idea. The church in Galatia felt this pull and Paul wrote to them with an earnest desire that they would become rooted in the Gospel that they first believed in, that their faith would be rooted in Grace.
