Garver at a Glance

Shake, rattle and Roll Play! We are pleased and excited to announce our newest pop-up experience inside the Garver Feed Mill, Roll Play Madison. With its combo of Asian street food, board game cafe & events, Roll Play is a must stop at your next Garver visit.

Kicking off this beautiful first weekend of music, Garver Events presents Luke Leavitt's Sound Tile free piano series in the Atrium followed by the return of Rare Element to Garver (ticketed event) on the Patio this Friday. Saturday features the innovative ensemble of the Paul Hecht Quartet presented by BlueStem Jazz.

Raise your spirits by tasting spirits at Merriment, a very special fundraiser next Thursday at Garver Feed Mill. Ten local distilleries will provide samples along with hors d'oeuvers from Garver Lounge, with all proceeds benefiting Little John's community kitchen.

Finally, this month we celebrate the 14th anniversary of the beginning of Nessalla Kombucha. Madison's largest (and oldest) craft kombucha brewery uses only organic and fair trade ingredients and is available to purchase on-site at Ian's Pizza, Garver Lounge, Ledger Coffee or online.

Garver Welcomes Roll Play

Madison’s coolest board game cafe is popping-up at Garver and is now OPEN through this summer! With an expanding library of 250+ board games and outdoor friendly games, this summer season will be our most FUN yet at Garver. Roll Play also features a unique and delicious menu of Asian street food, desserts and BUBBLE TEA!!!!

Looking to meet someone new and other game enthusiasts? Wednesday's open social nights are a great way to find people looking to play with others. Come as a single or group and Roll Play will help match you with other players and pick a game to play. Music Makes Garver

Since opening, Garver Feed Mill has quickly become a mainstay of the Madison music scene. From jazz to afro-dance, international traveling performances to open mic Wednesdays, music creates an unparalleled energy and buzz at Garver. Whether it's on the patio or in the atrium, a bluegrass brunch or background ambience to a festival, music has become an important way we bring community together and is part of how we identify as a place for all people.

This summer Garver Events will present an ongoing free Thursday music series on the patio featuring a diverse lineup including Madison favorites The Acoustic Charlie's and Adem Tesfaye while also providing slots for newcomers such as Ladyslipper and Def Sonic. Bluegrass brunches kickoff with Soggy Prairie on June 5th and international ensembles continue with Dahkabrahka's Concerts for Ukraine tour.

Nessalla Celebrates 14 Years in Madison

Congratulations to Nessalla, Madison's oldest and largest kombucha producer located in the Garver Feed Mill, for achieving 14 years of brewing the best booch in town.

A special message from Nessalla...

We at Nessalla, are so excited to be celebrating 14 years in business! We’ve come a long way in 14 years and are so proud to have an awesome brewery located at the beautiful Garver Feed Mill. To celebrate our birthday and the summer season we are launching 3 new canned flavors to join our others; Basil Mimosa, Lavender Mint, and Berry Sangria!

Or try Nessalla as a delicious mixed drink, with one of our favorite kombucha summer cocktail recipes.

Blueberry and Basil Smash:

1 ½ oz. unaged brandy/eau de vie
1 oz. NessAlla Blueberry Kombucha
1 oz. chamomile tea
¼ cup blueberries
3 basil leaves
lemon peel

Directions: Make yourself some chamomile tea, reserving 1 oz. for this recipe. Muddle blueberries and basil in a highball glass. Add brandy, NessAlla Blueberry Kombucha, and tea. Add ice. Lemon peel twirl as garnish.
