What's Happening on the Farm

Hello everyone!

Things have been rather hectic around here, with 27 kids born so far! We are also preparing to make product, preparing to expand the creamery, and getting over a nasty flu. For those of you who haven't heard- our Kiva loan to expand our creamery has been completely funded! Wahoo! We'll start as soon as this dang snow melts.
First kids of the season! We've been very fortunate so far to have nice, smooth births and healthy babies. It was quite cold in February and beginning of March, so we were very happy that we had several goat sweaters knitted up and ready to go. We did have 2 bucklings born quite weak, and one needed to be tube fed. They were both rejected by their mama so we now have 2 bottle babies on our hands. They are both doing well! We have a few girls available and several boys if you, or someone you know, is in the market for some cuties!
New Products! We are very excited to be offering an array of new products this season: goat milk ricotta- both flavored and plain, chèvre, goat milk kefir (plain & maple), and 8 oz goat milk yogurts. We still have our delicious cajeta (goat milk caramel sauce) and our 16 oz/32 oz yogurts. Yeeha!
Midcoast Cheese Trail We're excited to announce we'll be part of the Midcoast Cheese Trail this season! That means our farm will be open Sunday afternoons for people to come and purchase cheese. We won't have our chèvre available at Farmers Markets, so this will be one of the only ways you can buy it! You can find out more on Facebook:
