Easter blessings to you and yours!

2nd Collection for Missions

At Lord’s Day Masses this weekend, we will host Fr. Gary Wiesmann, a priest from the Diocese of Mandeville, Jamaica as part of the 2018 Missionary Cooperation Plan (MCP). You can hear from Fr. Weismann about the mission work in the diocese this weekend, or read about it on the blog.

Pope St. Martin

Today we celebrate Pope St. Martin I (pictured above left), a 7th-century religious abbot from central Italy prior to his election. As pope, he went to great lengths to unite the Church and was arrested and tortured for defending the faith against heresy.
Grant, almighty God, that we may withstand the trials of this world with invincible firmness of purpose, just as you did not allow your Martyr Pope Saint Martin the First to be daunted by threats or broken by suffering. Amen!

FORMED

Nativity has partnered with FORMED, a digital platform offered by the St. Augustine Institute, providing all parishioners unlimited access to study programs, feature films, audio presentations, and eBooks. We invite you to take advantage of this great resource!

Sunday's Readings

In the Acts of the Apostles, Peter calls the people to repentance and faith in the newly resurrected Jesus. St. John instructs his disciples to avoid sin and seek forgiveness from Jesus, our great "Advocate with the Father." In St. Luke's gospel, Jesus appears to his disciples, eats with them, and opens their minds "to understand the Scriptures."

Welcome New Catholics!

We would like to extend our congratulations to our Baptized, Confirmed, and newly professed adult Catholics who were received into the Church during our Easter Vigil celebration. Please continue to keep all our new Catholics and their Sponsors in your prayers for their continued growth in the Faith!
