Here's what's happening at Nativity.

Respect Life Weekend

This weekend we honor life "From Womb to Tomb!"  There will be a second collection at all the weekend masses in support of local pro-life advocacy groups.  There will also be an information booth in the cafeteria during Donut Sunday where you can learn more about these organizations, the work they do, and how you can get involved in the work of the Respect Life Committee at Nativity.

Donut Sunday

Join us after any of the morning masses this weekend for some coffee, donuts, milk, juice, and great conversation with your fellow parishioners at Donut Sunday in the cafeteria, sponsored by the Men's Club.

Saint Hilary of Poitiers

Tomorrow we celebrate Saint Hilary (pictured above left), a well-educated pagan convert whose writings were so powerful and influential that he received the title of "Doctor of the Church" as well as the nickname, "Arian Hammer."
Saint Hilary, pray for us, that we may imitate you in loving God and and rejecting falsehood.  Amen!

Martin Luther King Day

Please note that in honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., there will be no school and the parish office will be closed on Monday (1/16).  Just one mass will be celebrated at 9am and there will be no confessions.

Sunday's Readings

Sunday's First Reading reveals God's plan to bless the entire world through the prophet Isaiah. In the Gospel reading from St. John is the origin of the prayer we say at mass right before Holy Communion, and Jesus's mission is revealed further through St. John the Baptist.
