Here's what's happening at Nativity.

Be Reconciled

When we sing the glorious hymn "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," we triumphantly pronounce "God and sinners, reconciled!"  But this doesn't happen magically, of course.  How can you make it happen?  Come to our Reconciliation Service on Tuesday, confess your sins, and prepare yourself to welcome the Newborn King!

An Invitation to Invite

If you've ever been to a Christmas liturgy at Nativity, you know the cozy warmth, ornate decorations, fantastic music, and reverent prayerfulness that sets it apart.  There might not be a better time to invite your neighbors, friends, extended family members, and yes--even acquaintances--to mass!

Volunteers Needed

We are in great need of the following help:
  • Lectors & Greeters: Daily 8:15am (Mon-Sat) and 5pm (Mon-Fri) masses *greatest need*
  • Eucharistic Ministers: (same as above)
  • Greeters: Sunday 9:30am mass
If you are able to help, please contact Patrick Henning.  Thank you!

Scouts Pasta Dinner

Support Nativity Scouting at the annual all-you-can-eat Pasta Dinner on Monday (12/19) from 5-7:30pm in the school cafeteria. Scouts will be serving pasta, red sauce, sausages, salad, bread, and dessert.  See you there!

Sunday's Readings

Sunday's mass readings detail Isaiah's prophecy centuries before Christ that he will be born of a virgin as well as St. Paul's testimony that Jesus "descended from David."  In Matthew's gospel, we hear the angel's invitation to St. Joseph, "Do not be afraid!" of God's plans for him to father the Son of God with his new wife Mary.
