Here's what's happening at Nativity.

Merry Christmas—Day 4!

Don't kick those Christmas trees to the curb just yet, because the Church's celebration of Christmas is just getting started.  In fact, in liturgical time, *Christmas Day* is actually an 8-day celebration called an octave, and the Christmas season lasts all the way through the Baptism of the Lord, celebrated on January 9 in 2017.

Cribbage Tournament

Calling all cribbage players: The mid-winter classic is back!  Grab a partner, young or old, man or woman, and join us next Friday, January 6 to play in the 32nd Annual Fr. John W. Kelley Open.  The event is free and food and beverage are provided.

Saint Thomas Becket

St. Thomas Becket is one of the rare saints venerated in Catholic and non-Catholic churches alike as both saint and martyr.  St. Thomas, pray for us, that all Christians may be soon united.  Amen!
"For the name of Jesus and the protection of the Church, I am ready to embrace death." -St. Thomas Becket

Parish Guide Book

Registered Nativity parishioners will be receiving the 2017 Nativity Guide Book and Directory in the mail, which will provide information to help you stay current at Nativity, including information about councils, outreaches, and ministries, and contact information for your fellow parishioners.

Sunday's Readings

Sunday, January 1 is the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God.  The readings, then, reveal to us God's fatherly love for his sons and daughters, and Mary's motherly attention to her son Jesus and the events surrounding his birth.
