Here's what's happening at Nativity.

Follow the Star to Christ

Many Christians, especially in the eastern rites, have traditionally seen the Epiphany as an event of comparable significance to Christmas.  For Christ the Newborn King was revealed to the Jewish shepherds on Christmas and to the gentile Magi on the Epiphany.  So let us sing together this Sunday: "Guide us to thy perfect they perfect light!"

Preschool Open House

Join us for an Open House hosted by the NELC and Nativity School's Preschool this Monday, January 9 from 6-7:30pm. Bring your children, take a tour, and explore Pre-K, after school, and summer camp options.

Saint John Neumann

Saint John Neumann was a simple, humble man who became the bishop of Philadelphia, the first male American saint, and founder of the American parochial school system. Indeed, Nativity School and all who have benefitted from it and other Catholic schools have Saint John to thank!
Saint John, pray for us, that we may better entrust ourselves completely to God, so that we may do great things for his glory.  Amen!

Catholicism Video Study

Beginning next Thursday, January 12, all are invited to join a presentation of Bishop Robert Barron’s Catholicism: The Pivotal Players video series on Thursday mornings in the Gather Room immediately following the 8:15am mass.

Sunday's Readings

Sunday, January 8 is the Solemnity of the Epiphany of Our Lord.  The readings reveal how the prophets foretold--hundreds of years ahead of time--that kings would caravan from the East bearing gold, frankincense, and myrrh to pay tribute to the newborn king of the Jews.
