Volume 24 Issue 2 - February 2016

Welcome to the new email newsletter format.

Hello Marines and Associates,

Happy belated Valentines day. I hope that you we able to share this time with someone special.

I am experimenting with this new email format. I feel this will provide a better experience when receiving these due to the ability of click on some of the hyperlinks to direct you to information or return communicating with officers more easily.

Please note that we will be having an Officers Installation meeting next week on Thursday, February 25th at the Lion & Rose. Details of this information is located below including driving directions. All you have to do is click on the map. THIS will not replace on next regular meeting on March 1st, more details are on the right side of this page towards the top.

The reason we are changing the meeting location is that SAMMC has enforced a much higher gate security and requires everyone without base privileges to receive a vehicle pass and requires much information to get on base.

We will still be able to do functions however I would need to have everyone detail information prior to our event, like Vehicle make & model, License plate number, drivers license number address and more. I have to submit this informatoin 10 days prior for approval. I have set up a page that you can input that information once and I can submit it with enough time to allow easy access. Please look for my next email which will be linked to a form page that can gather your info. This information will not be uses or sold to anyone to protect your privacy and will only be used for Alamo Detachment functions.

Our Marines Helping Marines Program continues at its NEW TIME. If you wish to help during the ‘Taco Thursday’ Breakfasts being served at 0900, you are more than welcome. Contact Bob Otto for more information.

The Alamo Detachment 315 can't continue its mission without your help and participation, please become active in your Detachment. Remember, Marines are Marines forever.
Let us not forget that Marines and Corpsmen are still in harm's way. Please keep them and their loved ones in your daily prayers.
Our next regular meeting will takes place Tuesday, March 1st at 1900, at The Lion & Rose Restaurant, located at 842 NW Loop 410, Unit 115. (Corner of Blanco and 410, Park North) Need Directions... See you at the meeting. Please invite a friend.
