Porto Vecchio: The ambience during peak season could be described as “relaxed chic”, having gained a reputation for lively, sophisticated nightlife without being overly crowded. Polombaggia and Potro Vecchio Restaurant Guide
Polombaggia Beach
The beach is the most famous in Corsica, and has justifiably been voted one of the Top 10 best beaches in Europe.  It is flanked by mountains and umbrella-shaped pines, with pink granite headlands that enclose the beach and add to the rich variety of colours in this delightful setting. Palombaggia beach is in protected nature site and is cleaned regularly. The beach faces the archipelago of Cerbicale, attractive uninhabited small islands that can be explored by boat from Porto Vecchio.
Do as much or as little as you like!

With beautiful beaches covering most of the coast, this is the number one thing people find themselves doing. The water activities on the beach during the hotter months are endless, including jet-skiing, wind surfing, snorkeling, boat trips, fishing trips and so much more! With crystal clear waters, snorkeling and scuba diving are always a hit with the reefs below offering a view of the marine life. Or if  you'd rather just relax, why not hire a boat and head on out into the open waters.

If you don't fancy heading towards the sand and water then you could always turn in the opposite direction and head inland. Inland Corsica offers plenty of mountains, where you can take a leisurely walk, or try your hand at the more difficult rock climbing on offer.

Other activities on offer include playing a round of golf or tennis at a local club and even horse riding with a local equestrian center.

So whether you want to get sand in your shoes and play in the water, fancy something a little more challenging or just want to relax, Corsica has something for you!
