BID Business Support - Newsletter 24

Hope you are keeping well. In light of yesterday's news, we are back in business! The Prime Minister has announced that all businesses will be allowed to open from the 2nd December (not the 3rd as initially thought)

We are working hard to plan for the safe re-opening of the town
  • We are bringing back the ambassadors to support businesses so please do let us know what you think you will need help with so we can plan accordingly.
  • We have also set up a meeting with Public Health officials this Thursday at 6pm - all businesses are encouraged to join us to ensure a safe re-opening (see joining instructions below)

The virtual Christmas Lights Switch-on Event was very successful with over 32,000 people watching our lovely video! And footfall in town has been unusually high with families visiting the attractions and following the Xmas lights Trail on LoyalFree. There are many opportunities to get involved. Maybe you can produce an offer -a free hot chocolate for everyone that completes the trail?

We will be keeping you up to date as regularly as possible, but please ring 01707 497930 or email us if you want to speak to us.

Make sure you are Covid secure: Meeting with Public Health officials
.We have set up a meeting with Public Health officials who will be providing the businesses with support on re-opening safely. The meeting will be taking place on Thursday 26th November at 6pm.
