The figures are in and 2020 was a record-breaking year for Bountiful Harvest. Thanks to the residents and businesses in Livingston County we distributed over 530,000 pounds of food to the people in need in our county. Countless clothes, over 1,000 winter coats, boots, gloves, etc. We delivered over 23,000 hot meals. Connected Kidz gave over 100 laptop computers to children who were in need and schooling was virtual. Thank you for making this possible.
&
Meijer in Brighton has once again held the Simply Give Program and the response on the double days were staggering. We have received the total and it was a very generous $10,760 in food gift cards.
YEAH! Once again the generous people of Livingston County came through for the people in need.
Last year we spent over $130,000 for food. So, if you don’t think what you donated matters much, well please think again. Donations received were from $0.68 to $10,000. It all adds up and meets the need.
We are proud to announce that we now have a Pet Section.
One for Cats and one for Dogs.
Please be assured we will have food for your pet family members. We also have pet clothes, booties, etc.
We are also looking for office help: answer phones, take orders, scheduling, making copies, etc. We need two volunteers to man the phones, etc. Tuesday through Friday 9:00am until 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Our you can opt for the entire day 9:00am until 4:00pm. The 1st and 3rd Saturdays we need office help from 7:30am until 12:00pm.
We are in desperate need of a driver for Thursday afternoons. Please call me if you think you might be interested.
&
Meijer will be running the Simply Give Program again from February 14, 2021 until April 10, 2021. They have added this campaign due to increased need with COVID. The double days will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 and Saturday, April 3, 2021. This means that on those two days Meijer will not only match the $10 donation and make it $20, they will instead add $20 to your $10 donation and make it $30.
For volunteering, go to Sign Up Genius, put Bountiful Harvest Inc in the search area and it will take you to our page. You can sign up for the day, time and position of your choice. We especially need help in the afternoon Tuesday through Friday. Drivers are needed for Thursday and Friday afternoons.
Small Hands Big Hearts applied to Aldi for a monetary donation for Bountiful Harvest. They received the donation in the form of a check for $1,500 and $500 in Aldi Gift cards. WOW! This group of young people are so caring and giving. They are now and will grow to be pillars of the community.
El Arbol ran a fundraiser for us by taking the part of the rental from their Igloos and donating $3,783 to us. What an ingenious idea. It was a true blessing to the pantry. Thank you El Arbol.
There is so much more I could write about, but I know you would rather wait until next month (hehe)
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS
Have a Blessed Month

EVENTS
By Shannon Egenolf, 248-342-2131
A fundraising committee is forming to help not only come up with different events, but also to help run events. I hope to start monthly meetings later in February, either in person or via Zoom.
If you are interested in joining please contact me.
Noreen Owens Photography has extended their fundraiser to run until February 14th. You pay $99 for a family photo session (worth $500) – all proceeds go to Bountiful Harvest.
Thanks for all your continued support! If anyone has any great fundraiser ideas, wants to volunteer or wants to sponsor a fundraiser for Bountiful Harvest, please contact me.

Chez Vonz News!
By Michelle Benser, Chez Vonz Manager
Forgot to mention last month that the children received clothes as well as toys for Christmas . We had enough toys that grandparents were able to pick out gifts for their grandchildren. Each child also received a Christmas stocking filled with surprises.
Winter coats, some boots, scarves, etc are still available. Winter boots and shoes are still being accepted. (men’s, women’s and children). We especially need sizes 10 and up for both men and women.
We are now back to having the clothing store set up. We are allowing one client at a time to come in and shop for clothing, shoes, etc. You must wear a mask and do a COVID screening (not test) before entering. Please be diligent with how long you spend in picking out clothing as we can only allow 1 person in at a time. You will be asked to leave and come back another time if you take too long. We are extremely busy this time of year and with COVID it is even harder.
Winter clothing is still being accepted. Please bring them to the pantry Tuesday through Friday 10:00am until 4:00pm, Saturday 9:00am until 11:30am. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS OUTSIDE. The animals or the weather will get to them and they will end up in the dumpster. If you cannot come during our regular hours, please call and we will work with you on receiving the donations,
Our clothing store is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 9:00am until 11:30am on Saturday.
You are so appreciated. Thank you so much for supporting our Clothing Ministry.
Without you we couldn’t do this work.
Thank you!
