"Why, What and How" on Education of Standards
 
Presenter: Signe Annettee Bogh

Mrs. Signe Annettee Bogh, a Masters degree graduate in International Technical Management, will be presenting on the topic of education of standards. Mrs. Bogh is a driving force in the development of games and other educational material about standardization and has has participated in several national and European research projects featuring standardization.
SES Newly Certified Professionals
The Society congratulates the following individuals who have successfully certified as Astd or CStd professionals during the 1st Quarter of 2018:

The Certification Committee encourages all certified professionals to recertify and for all SES member to consider joining the committee that “leaves a mark on you!” 
World Standards Day Paper Competition

2018 World Standards Day theme “Innovation Nation"
Submissions due by July 13, 2018
 
The Society for Standards Professionals and the U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day Planning Committee to co-sponsor a paper competition for individuals in the U.S. standards community. The 2018 paper competition winners will be announced and given their awards at the U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day, which will be held this year on October 18, 2018, at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C.
