2 things to share with you...first up...WNPEI has a new program called PropELLE

Women's Network PEI (WNPEI) is now accepting referrals from all Service Providers and Employment Assistance Service Organizations for their new program PropELLE.
PropELLE is accepting 15 clients and starts September 26th, 2016. Accepted clients will require a Return to Work Action Plan to participate in the program.
The PropELLE program is a free 11-week  program under the Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE) project at Women's Network. It is for women who are interested in making positive change in their lives and addressing some of the barriers they face. Focus is placed on personal development as well as essential skills and employment readiness. Women will have opportunities to explore careers in traditionally male work sectors.  Women can be unemployed or working less that 20 hours a week, can be on social assistance or have no income when entering the program. WEE is funded in whole or part through the Canada-PEI Labour Market Development Agreement and the Canada- Prince Edward Island Job Fund.

WNPEI is doing an online application form for the PropELLE program and the link is attached below. As program intake is via referral only, staff who want to make a referral to the program can fill out the online application individually with their client(s). Upon receiving  the application form, WNPEI will contact clients for interviews.

Below is an information sheet and a google drive link to program slides (or download WEE Programs Information.pdf 2MB and WEE Information Eligibility.pdf  338KB) which gives detail regarding eligibility and the differences between their Trade HERizons and PropELLE programs. If there are clients that would be interested in the Trade HERizons program, clients can contact WNPEI directly.
