The autumn has arrived and so has the second newsletter of Cinema Bioscoop!
The days get shorter, the nights longer, this season is perfect to stay home watching a film under a warm blanket. For that matter, allow us to keep you updated about our film events.
After an extraordinary week in London at the Low Countries Film Festival, Cinema Bioscoop is now putting its best effort in a completely different project: 7 DAGEN KORT! This film competition, starting of in Brussels, gives young and aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to produce a film in seven days. Three teams will demonstrate their unique filming skills, by organizing, producing and editing their work in a week, with the purpose of later being shown on the big screen.

If you always dreamed of releasing the inner Bioscooper in you, now is your chance! Cinema Bioscoop is looking for a film lover who wants to be part of our Programming Department as a member of the Viewing Committee. Cinema Bioscoop is a non-profit organisation that aims to promote Dutch language films and culture in Europe and abroad. Through the power of film, Cinema Bioscoop hopes to contribute to the recognition and appreciation of the Dutch language and related cultures. Besides organising Dutch film festivals, Cinema Bioscoop coordinates subtitling workshops in order to stimulate a mutual understanding between cultures, and film-making competitions to inspire talented filmmakers.
