The spring Museum Object class under the direction of Jennifer Baez is developing Regimes of Visuality: Print Culture in Haiti during the Age of Revolution, opening April 5 in the WJB Gallery. The show will feature prints and maps from the collection of Edouard Duval-Carrie, in association with the artist's visit to FSU for the exhibition and symposium centered around his work.

Edouard Duval-Carrié at Florida State University

Haitian-born artist Edouard Duval-Carrié returns to Tallahassee in February for the opening of Decolonizing Refinement, an exhibition of his works hosted at the FSU Museum of Fine Arts, arranged by an Art History curatorial team, and associated with a symposium on African Diaspora and Caribbean Studies on February 17.
