Epping Eye Surgery Centre's Commitment to Ongoing Education

At Epping Eye Surgery Centre, we have a strong belief in constant improvement. Last week as part of that, our staff engaged in a day of Advanced Resuscitation training and education.

Under the instruction of respected Westmead Children's hospital Anaesthetist, Dr David Elliot, our nursing staff practised important paediatric CPD skills as well as advanced resuscitation training for children and adults. These skills are part of our commitment to ongoing staff education in order to provide our patients with the highest level of safety and care.

Optomonline opened in 2009 as a convenient way for Optometrists to complete their CPD training online. Since then, it has provided CPD training to over 1,600 Optometrists with new modules released on a monthly basis.

This year, Optomonline is getting a revamp. We are redesigning the whole site to make it easier to navigate with a more modern feel. We will also be introducing a classifieds section where users can post buy, sell, trade and hire equipment, staff or facilities. All of this and more will be easily accessible, whether you are using a desktop, mobile phone or tablet.

The new Optomonline is scheduled to be completed by June 2017 so keep watching this space to stay informed and updated.
