A little surprise trip to Melbourne, brought me in contact, with the delightful Qantas Business Lounge, and the QT Melbourne. I have posted my impressions of the lounge, and first impressions of the QT Melbourne.
Everyone wants a Presidential Suite!
Sorry, this has taken so long, but I can finally reveal the delightfulness that is the Four Seasons Sydney Presidential Suite. Yes, the review has finally been written. Get a good inside gander with a truckload of photos. In fact so many, that I will need to do a separate instalment for ancillary facilities like Club and Gym.
What else happened last week?
It's a slow week in the airline industry, on the whole. The major news is the further emerging issues with the Boeing 737 Max x 2 which mean it probably won't be airborne again until 2020. I have said before that this has the potential of bankrupting Boeing, and I'm sticking to that. The FAA is going to take its sweet time, and microscopic gaze to approve this model for airworthiness, and don't even mention the hard time the European agencies will give this model before it re-enters their airspace. I'm betting some heads will roll at Boeing - soon.
If you are a visitor to Singapore and its airline's lounges, then you are in for a treat - with remodelling over the next couple of years. You can preview a couple of renders of how the various lounges, including The Private Room, will look.
Catch up on last weeks posts below. Until next week . . .
