Where am I going this week? Adelaide, South Australia

Hello travellers.
I'm off to Adelaide this coming week, for a regular visit to my family - so I won't be reviewing the trip in any detail.

What happened last week?

I went to Perth on Qantas Business Class (upgrade using points) and stayed at the QT Perth.  You can read my initial impressions of the hotel and the flight, and a slightly sour experience with a drunk-with-power Qantas  flight attendant. Full reveiws will appear over the next few weeks.
Also covered - rumours about the return of the B737 MAX to operation, and some observations about hotel 'Resort Fees'

Catch up on last weeks posts below. Until next week . . .

Happy Travels,

Also, we have a popular review from contributor ‘Seat 2B’ of a trip to Jakarta that covers the same ground. Instead, […]

Stories until now have suggested a much later return to […]

Resort Fees – starts charging commission

By 2paxfly on May 27, 2019 10:19 am

Just like airlines introduced ‘fuel surcharges’, some hotels – particularly in resort locations in the USA have started charging a ‘Resort Fee’ on top of their nightly rate. Why Resort Fees? Originally these were charges for additional services at high end resort – things like shuttle services use of a pool and valet services. But […]
