We need your feedback on Skills Shortages

Welcome to 2020. We look forward to working with you on improving the skills of the workforce.

We need advice from you and other Industry Advisory Group members about any shortages of skilled labour or difficulties filling skilled job vacancies.

The Food Fibre and Timber Industries Training Council contributes to the development of the WA Government's State Priority Occupations List, especially in regard to evidence of unfilled job vacancies.

The State Priority Occupations List guides workforce development planning and policies in the State. While its main use is to inform the funding priorities for Vocational Education and Training, the State Priority Occupations List is also used as evidence in the development of the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List and the Graduate Occupation List.

If you are aware of any shortages of skilled labour please complete our short survey: Click Here
Before 20 February 2020, if possible (or if you don't like surveys, simply give us a call).
