Your bill is going down!
Effective April 1, GreyStone Power rates are going down! Below are the old and new residential rates for winter and summer. In addition to the rates going down, members will receive a “Wallet Watch credit” noted on their bill dependent on the number of kWh used. For your convenience, a calculator is available on our website to check your savings. You can find it under Membership Benefits>Wallet Watch Calculator.
Why are rates going down?
- A favorably negotiated wholesale power contract
- Several years of fiscally tightening our belts and watching our wallets
- Members made their voices heard on Capitol Hill to help control future power costs
- A new billing system that will save GreyStone $15 million over the next 10 years
Look for the new entry on your bill. It's called a Wallet Watch credit, which will show your monthly savings. The average member will save more than $9 per month! (Using 1,100 kWh per month.) A clear right-of-way means reliable service
Have you ever wondered what happens when a tree limb touches a live power line? Though the scene can be captivating, the danger still lurks for onlookers. The result of their touching can cause outages for many members. Maintaining a clear right-of-way (ROW) ensures the reliability of our system. To find out if crews will be in your area, click here.
