Would you like to Volunteer with us?
With the busy season starting around Spring Break, Dinosaur Ridge has a need for more volunteers to work with the public and school-aged children on field trips! We have several great avenues for training and would love to work with folks that have a passion for outdoor education!
Our biggest need right now is for docents, guides that help orient visitors in our indoor exhibit hall Trek Through Time at the Main Visitor Center. These shifts take place once a week in the morning or afternoon, or you can set up a modified schedule as needed with our volunteer coordinator!
A Dinosaur Ridge Training Session will be taking place on March 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Discovery Center (17681 W Alameda Parkway, Red Rocks Entrance #1). From 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. is the indoor classroom section of the training, and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. will be the outdoor hike of Dinosaur Ridge stopping at the fossil and geological sites to see our wonders up close! RSVP with Blake Sullivan for the classroom, outdoor, or both parts of the training session.
