Hi All!

Here’s your weekly dose of FIVER FRIDAY, a list of what I've found useful or informational this week concerning education.

Post I'm reading--

Work. Walk 5 Minutes. Work. My co-workers and I have been doing this for a while now, and some of our best ideas come to us while we're walking and talking together. I once read that Steve Jobs had some of his most important meetings while walking about the Apple campus.

Chrome Extension I'm using--

Library Extension. This Chrome Extension is extremely helpful for all book lovers. While perusing books on sites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble, Library Extension provides you with their availability at your local library. You can read more about it here. Thanks for the recommendation, Hans Tullman

Book I read during Winter Break--

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a **** by Mark Manson. This book is great motivation for concerning yourself with only the most important things in life. (Warning: As you can imagine, there's a lot of profanity.)

Coach I'm reading about--

I'm a 49ers fan, and this post about former Niners coach Bill Walsh is incredible. I love reading about coaches--there's so much that can be applied to the field of education.

Quote I'm pondering--

"We shouldn't teach great books; we should teach a love of reading."--B.F. Skinner
