HumanSurge received on-stage

The European Commission funded Startup Europe ´Welcome Project´ granted HumanSurge participation in a  3-week acceleration program in Silicon Valley, San Francisco. The place where some of the best ideas blossom, and home of amazing tech startups. Bringing back knowledge and skills to take HumanSurge to scale.

While in Silicon Valley, one of the world´s largest accelerator programs (Y Combinator), invited HumanSurge on-stage at a key event attended by 1700 participants. Y-combinator partners Kevin Hale and Qasar Younis discussed the innovation and user-experience of the website during their on-stage Office Hours with co-founder Loek Peeters, providing constructive feedback and suggestions.

Startup Europe Awards 2016 recognizes HumanSurge

In October, HumanSurge received the Startup Europe Award 2016 Spain in the category Social. After winning in Spain, the next step will be to represent Spain at the European finals. The Politics of Compassion

The Humanitarian Congress Berlin is an international platform for exchanging information, experiences and ideas of humanitarian aid. HumanSurge was there and spoke with keynote speakers Jemilah Mahmood (IFRC) and Jan Egeland (NRC), and panelists Antonio Donini and Marc Dubois, as well as hundreds of participants.
