Hearing Loop Awareness Week


Let’s Loop Swindon joined in with the charity Hearing Link in their ‘Hearing Loop Awareness Week’ between 2nd and 8th November.

During the week some of the team in Swindon undertook a re-audit of local Pharmacies. They also held a workshop for Swindon Borough Council staff and councillors and put up a display in Swindon Library. Read More
 


Risk Management Demystified


An interactive workshop to equip charity managers with the knowledge to protect the delivery of their charitable objectives. Delivered by professionals from Nationwide’s Risk Team, this workshop will focus on skills and tips on how to proactively identify and manage risks.

Rally Around For A Good Cause!


The Heart of Wiltshire Community Badminton Network are kindly donating the facilities at Sheldon School to raise money for Macmillan.

Come and play badminton and raise money for charity on Saturday 21st November. All abilities welcome on this afternoon of Badminton - bring friends, family or colleagues. Coaching will be available for those who would like it or just dust off your rackets and come along and play. Read More

Hours: Initially 37 hours / week until 31st March 2016 then will reduce to 27 hours.

The Swindon Sports Forum Annual General Meeting is taking place on November 19th at the Swindon Town Football Club Legend Lounge. Come along for an evening of sporting information, recognition, and acknowledgement of the people who play a key part in supporting sports clubs and make sports happen in Swindon. There will be light refreshments, an open bar, and the opportunity to network with like-minded people from the sporting community.
