Time flies...

Another year end is fast approaching and with crops across the region looking extremely promising, together with recreational water in Lakes there is a lot of positivity in towns across the shire.

With the return of water to Lake Wallace and top ups to other lakes in the shire, we expect to see an influx of recreational water users and nature based tourists to region over the coming months.  As a business community it is so important to maintain service levels and support each other during these times to capitalise on the visitor spend in our communities.

There are many tools available to businesses to assist with promotion.  Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are the first that spring to mind, but what else can your business do?  Does your business have a mailing list or regular newsletter to keep customers up to date with new and exciting additions to your business?

Google Business Listings are a great way to assist you with promoting your business.  When people search for you , does your phone number show up?  Is the correct address and website listed?  Manage your free busines listing on Google Search and Google Maps.  For more information or to register go to
www.google.com/business

Another FREE tool available to businesses in the Wimmera is thewimmeraonline.com.au  The Wimmera really does have "Everything You Need" and you'll find everything you need right here.  The Wimmera Online is a FREE directory of the regions online businesses over the five municipalities of Hindmarsh, West Wimmera, Northern Grampians, Horsham and Yarriambiack shires.  To be eligible to be listed on this site, your business needs to have a current website or business Facebook page.  To register click HERE.
