Four children from Room 5 organised a 'spur of the moment' Halloween Dress up Day
This week Kaegan's Mum (Justine Palmer) came to help and guide us with
creation of our Christmas Decorations to sell at the Market Gala later
this term. We wanted to create something to sell and we invited expert
parents in to help us.  We learned about how to shape and create with
clay and we all made two decorations.  Kaegan's mum will fire our
decorations in the kiln and come back next week to help us paint and
glaze.  Thanks Justine - it was a fantastic morning!
Last Friday Team Tauhara ran a Touch Rugby World Cup with 18 International teams taking part in lots of touch rugby games.  By the afternoon we were able to hold a final with Fiji & France.  Excitingly the King Country Rams came to help us play.  They were amazing and after a hard fought match, Fiji won in the last minutes with an amazing try!  Mayor David Trewavas came to present the winning trophies and support our local aspiring rugby players.  It was a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyable.
Room 13 has been putting their little part of He Manu Whenua outside their classroom, refreshing the native plants already growing.
