BIG THANKS to our Ironkidz Committee and everyone who supported this amazing event. The committee decided that this year's profits will go towards improving the internal teaching and learning space of Rooms 17 & 18. They are in a very poor state and while the general configuration of the space is there an investment in upgrading the rooms and providing a better connection between the learning spaces for our learners and teachers is seen as being a priority for our School's development.
These improvements will support our development of the Junior School learning programme that seeks to fully utilise the space and enable the teaching skills that that team bring to our school within their learning environment.
The Junior Team have started the planning for this, with changes due to begin during the Term 2.

Visit to Summerset Retirement Village On Tuesday our children went to Summerset to connect with our community. We loved spending special time with the wonderful residents singing, being a band, reading our poems and our books to our new friends.

This picture was taken Wednesday morning when the children rushed to the window. There was great excitement to see a real life rainbow in school with all its vibrant colours. Lots of discussion followed.
