Hi Parents/Caregivers. As you know the 40 Hour Famine is happening during the weekend of the 10th and 12th of June. Your child may have brought home a sponsorship booklet and a bracelet OR your child may be waiting for these things to arrive at school - hopefully this week.
Your child can decide to do anything they'd like during this time. They may opt to sleep in a cardboard box, go without electronics, not use furniture or maybe not even talk!!!  It's completely up to them. Once they've decided then they can ask their friends or family to sponsor them. The money they raise then gets brought back to school and is sent to World Vision. The funds will go towards providing safe, learning environments for the 5 million children who are refugees.
If you'd like any further information please contact Mrs Parkes in Room 15.
Games will resume next week.
