A group of NZ authors have teamed up to get kids writing.
The idea is that they provide the start of a story and the kids have to finish it. They judge the stories and award prizes. These competitions are open to anyone under 13, and they award prizes for a range of different things so that there's no advantage in being older.    https://fabostory.wordpress.com/
