Yesterday a BB gun was brought to school by a student. The gun was confiscated as soon as it was bought to our attention. There were no pellets with the gun. The family concerned was contacted. The police have also followed up on the matter as this sort of gun should not be legally in the hands of anyone under 16. The Police have confiscated the BB gun and will be dealing with this situation from here with the family.
This is a timely reminder that no guns - toy or otherwise - are allowed to be brought onto school grounds.
After talking to Photolife it looks as though your child's individual 'shoot key' (which allows you to go online and view and order your photos), will be at school and ready to be handed to your child in the first few days of Term 3. You will then have between Monday 25 July and Monday 15 August to order with free delivery.
We have children at school who need extra food from time to time. Our supplies are getting down. We would really appreciate any donations of non-perishable snack food, eg muesli bars, crackers etc. If you can help, please drop any donations off at the office. Thankyou.

Seasons groups are for children who are missing someone important from their dialy life. This could be due to changes at home such as a loved one dying or parents separating, moving away or going to prison. The groups are small and give a chance for the children to talk together about their experiences of loss and change. Groups run each school term, starting next Term on Tuesday 26 July. If you think this would suit your child please call Jo Tavendale on 021-767-548 or email email@example.com.
